This is one of only 3 pieces from my recent 'Out of the Dark' series to be re-created as a fine art print, and this larger edition steals the show as a stunning centrepiece.  The subject needs no introduction; one of our most vibrant native birds, the striking blue and orange colouring of the Kingfisher is unmistakable. 
 
This series is all about celebrating our wildlife, and particularly our much loved garden birds, which have played such an important role in helping so many of us through the darker times of the last few years.  
 
With the sale of the original paintings helping to raise money for rewilding charities, it is my hope that this series will have helped raise both funds and awareness to the plight of our diminishing wildlife, and help them to come Out of the Dark in return.
